King Charles Coronation Gospel Outreach

A opportunity to share the gospel

On May 6, 2023, millions will converge on the city of London for the coronation of King Charles, and many millions more from around the world will watch the coronation live. How incredible would it be if we could reach this unprecedented audience with the gospel? LivingWaters Europe has put out a challenge to all churches see info here

This is where we come in. Disciples Church has accepted the challenge and is sending a group of people up to London to make the best of this unique opportunity to share the gospel in London, during King Charles’ Coronation.

May it be a work of the Spirit

We are reminded of the events in Acts 2 when “men from every nation under heaven” gathered in Jerusalem for the feast of Pentecost and the church told them of “the mighty works of God”, and Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Our prayer is that our Heavenly Father would empower His people by His Holy Spirit to boldly and lovingly share the gospel (good news) of our Lord Jesus because “there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
